Members from our club planted 18 service whips around Primrose Hill Community Wood in Bath to mark our Soroptimist Centenary. Clubs throughout the world hae been doing this to mark the occasion whilst helping the planet. We planted 18 to represent each member of the club. Luckly we had a husband who helped and guided us along the way.
The 2021 theme for the international Day of Peace is ‘Recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world’
Soroptimist international celebrates 100 years in action for Gender Equality and Women Rights. 72,000 Soroptimists worldwide celebrate our 100th Anniversary and we lit 4 candles representing S.I, SIGBI, our South West and Channel Islands Region and our club.
