Janet Dabbs gave a very interesting talk about the work that is done at Age UK, Bath and NorthEast Somerset.  it was very enlightening and made us aware of what we should be doing to prepare ourselves for later life and also how we can help elderly and vulnerable people.

President Diane presented a cheque to Janet to help go towards the work that AgeUK does in our local area.

Cheque Presented to RUH Forever Friends

A cheque for £1,100.00 was presented to Zoe Tainton of the RUH which will buy a ‘row of bricks’ for the new Cancer Unit.

Bras bagged up and ready to go!

6 bags of bras have been sent off ready to be recycled within this country or are sent abroad to be sold so that women can earn some money to help them live better lives.  The proceeds that we have already received for collecting the bras will go toward the cancer unit in Bath, a very worthwhile cause.
